Well, I don't know about that ;)
Still I'm optimistic that a couple/a few of them will be okay at least.

Animation/Cartoons(All on PD DVD sets):
The Scarecrow (Paul Grimault 1943) Dubbed version - Copyright
Alice (Early Disney) - Pre 1923 "Laugh-O-Grams" Disney cartoons are PD. Later ones are a little contentious.
Jack Frost (Rankin-Bass 1979) Copyright registered
Hoppity Hooper (1964) Copyright renewed
Fraidy Cat (1975) Copyright
Wacky and Packy (1975) Copyright

Films (some from PD DVD sets):

Susanna Pass (1949) Renewed R645389. Copyright
Treasure of the Amazon (1985) Registered for GATT V8002P379 1996. Copyright

Sweet Sounds (Short - Merchant Ivory 1976) Probably PD. Could be an issue with music rights depending on which compositions are played.

Many thanks for your work Video Cellar. A couple to upload at least. Again, really shows that you can't bet on stuff that's on PD DVD labels. I will go through Sweet Sounds before uploading to see if anything musical jumps out that could be a problem.

Friendly suggestion: Upload them all. I would like to have some of them. If they prove to be not in the public domain, they should be immediately removed from the archive after I have downloaded them.
